"This was from an early December morning (2019 - б. м.). We were wandering the streets of Shibuya. We had an hour or two before we had to catch our ride to the train station to blast down to Osaka on the bullet train for the next show. Just enough time for a coffee and whatever else looked tasty. I love Japan. Extremely foreign, extremely friendly, and out of this world beautiful. Depending on how you look at it, this was day 2 or 3 of our week of travel insanity. We had 4 shows in a row in what felt like 3 days, but I'm pretty sure it was 4. Maybe 5? The days between shows were spent in airports and on airplanes. We were lucky to get a few hours of sleep in between it all. I'm not complaining. These are the moments that help expand the definitions of ourselves and what we're capable of doing. It was a great experience and it had great rewards, like anything challenging. Once we step on stage, it doesn't matter how tired we are or how we got there. It's about that moment. Connecting to a room full of people that are sharing that moment. No amount of tired can beat that feeling. Anyway. Here's Lzzy on the streets of Tokyo. What a cool street. What a cool place. What a cool lady." Joe Hottinger, 4 дек.' 2020, Instagram (link).
