"Freedom. Isn't that why we built this country: we wanted freedom; a 'place' where we are free to be our true selves. A Place to celebrate our diversity, and our equality... As a supporter, and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I must stand up for the rights, and freedom that is being threatened right now. We are witnessing political theater at the expense of actual human lives. But we are better than that. And as members of the human race, we will not let this happen. The 'Don't Say Gay' being pushed by Florida republicans has just passed in the Senate, and will be heading to DeSantis' desk. He can and must veto it to avoid causing further harm. Would you, please, join me, and our dear friends of 'MoveOn', in speaking out against this attempt to marginalize and erase the LGBTQ+ community? We have a petition from young Jack Petocz, a junior at Flagler Palm Coast High School, who was suspended after organizing the March 3 protest against the bill. Sign and share Jack's petition to Gov. DeSantis. Let's halt this nonsense!"
